My love for photography started when I was just five years old.  My dad bought me the 1980's Kodak Tele-Ektra 300 camera for Christmas. I was obsessed with taking pictures and from then on my camera and I were inseparable. Fast forward to college and obviously I went to study photography, nope. I decided to pursue a career in teaching. I loved kids and knew I wanted to be home during the summer with mine.  So, in 1998 I graduated from LSU with a degree in early education.  

However, the love and obsession for photography never left me. After 12 years of teaching I decided to start my photography business. I continued to teach and learn everything about running a business, developing my style, plus all the beauty and hardships that come with that. I finally retired from teaching with 20 years to solely run my business. Now 13 years into this career I have carried over my love for children as a family photographer and get to work with dream clients to create those beautiful memories for them.  Then my creative side focuses on Brand Photography.

When I'm not working you can find me traveling, exploring, paddle boarding, riding my bike, skiing, or playing golf. I love being outdoors and spend my time between New Orleans and Colorado. I've definitely been called a Coastal Grandma and adore anything navy, white, and preppy. I'm the proud mom of a son who now attends LSU which I'm still trying to come to grips with. Life is short, but oh so sweet.
